The unit was used in a car workshop but developed faults and was sent to the importer for repair.

Contaminants were found in the machine; it is suspected that a vehicle's air conditioning had been treated with a sealant that ended up in the service unit.

The unit is likely repairable and parts may be cleanable, but we did not have this work carried out and replaced the unit with a new one.

The unit had optional accessories — a printer and a refrigerant analyser — which have been removed; they are not necessary for operation.

The unit was disassembled for inspection and has now been reassembled broadly (it will need to be disassembled again for repair).
