Driven a fair amount, so there are signs and effects of use. The car is currently off the road as it is not needed. It can be put back into use if required.


The car has served as my daily driver since last autumn. During this time necessary repairs and an engine oil change have been carried out. The previous owner maintained the car reasonably well, evidenced by a full service booklet and a thick bundle of receipts. I have added notes from the receipts to the service booklet so I could better follow the history. Not all receipts are listed in the booklet. Headlamp units sanded and resin-treated. Faults found at inspection were repaired and the car re-inspected without remarks.

Inspection papers in the photos. Interior is half-leather and in very good condition. Well-equipped, e.g. reversing camera, automatic climate control, rain sensor, etc.

Defects and other observations

  • The fuel gauge cannot be relied on. I have driven many full tanks trusting the gauge down to empty, but twice the petrol ran out despite the gauge saying otherwise. After the first time I replaced the tank fittings (including the sender), because I thought the fuel pump was faulty. The second time showed that the issue was not fixed by that. Since then I have been filling full tanks and resetting the trip, then refuelling quite conservatively at around 650 km. It is a problem one can live with.

  • There was a knocking noise when driving earlier, but recently or at the MOT both track‑rod ends, both lower ball joints, one rear half‑shaft and the rear bush of the front right control arm were replaced — the latter received a verbal remark. The car has been off the road and I have not driven it on public roads after the MOT. So there is no certainty whether the knocking remains, but the play found by the inspector has been removed.

  • A new front wheel hub/bearing is also included, left over from my father's similar car.
