Defects and other observations

Machine has faults; requires repairs. Grease nipples have been fitted to the machine.

The following has been observed:

  • In June it began leaking transmission oil from the flywheel housing. An authorised Case technician said by phone that the seal has probably failed.

  • The gearbox has been overheating since winter 2015 during longer work periods. 3rd and 4th gears do not engage. 1st and 2nd gears still worked well in June.

  • The machine leaks hydraulic oil from two front lift cylinders.

  • Small leaks of engine oil and coolant.

  • There is play in the lift arms.

  • The automatic lubricator/greaser is out of service.

  • The heater fan is noisy in winter when set to full power.
