I've owned the car since early 2021, when I also had it museum-registered.

Very little driven, mainly in summers — probably only a couple of thousand kilometres in total.


Good equipment, from cruise control and electric sunroof onwards, and much more..

Two sets of Ford wheels are included. Original service and owner's manuals, brochures, museum statements etc. are kept.

According to the history, the car was new to Erkki Vanhanen — possibly the well-known, now deceased motorsport expert/commentator/journalist?


Even the model itself is rare to see, let alone with this engineering.

In my and many others' opinion the car looks very tidy overall, inside and out!

This attracts attention — it's easy to start conversations in car parks..


New tyres fitted, fresh MOT certificate in the papers and wax on the paint. Ready to go and enjoy the summer weather straight away.

As it's a hobby car, there are small jobs for garage evenings if you want to make it flawless.

It runs very well as it is.

This summer, the distributor cap, rotor, leads, spark plugs, coil and engine oil were changed.

Starts, runs and has good pull.


I'm a bit sad to let it go, but there's not room in the garage for everything and it's time for this one to leave.

Defects and other observations

There is no air-conditioning evaporator (never had one during my ownership). The interior blower recently stopped working; it hasn't been checked yet — possibly a blown fuse or another issue.

The odometer hasn't moved for a while.

A repair recommendation was given at the MOT for a driveshaft CV boot; it will be replaced if time allows.

The tyres could probably be balanced, as there's a slight vibration in the steering at high speed.
