22-tonne pneumatic jack

Belongs to the group of point-lift jacks, designed to lift a vehicle along a vertical axis. The jack operates with compressed air, which drives a hydraulic pump producing pressure in the hydraulic cylinder. Rising pressure causes the telescopic part of the actuator to extend upwards. Lowering the pressure makes it descend. Another important design feature is the length of the jack, which affects working comfort when lifting vehicles where the support points are hard to reach. Such jacks are fitted with wheels to allow movement on site. Portable versions designed for service use are also available; these are much lighter and smaller, making them easy to carry in a service vehicle.

With the fitted lubrication system, friction between interacting surfaces is reduced, decreasing wear and protecting against corrosion. The oil often also acts as a coolant.

These jacks are used for maintenance of lorries, buses, agricultural machinery and armoured military vehicles.

The unit is supplied with two extension tips that increase the lifting height. Road/transport wheels allow easy movement.

The lifting handle can be adjusted to three positions for improved working comfort.
