Ultrasonic cleaners are an ecological cleaning system. 

The cleaning effect of an ultrasonic cleaner is produced by transmitting waves (invisible to the human eye) through the cleaning liquid. This creates thousands of tiny cavitation centres (micro-bubbles) that then collapse under the same sound waves. The penetration of the micro-bubbles causes local, rapid pressure changes that dislodge dirt particles (grease, other contaminants) from the surface of the object. With this method you can effectively clean all surfaces submerged in the tank without scrubbing or wiping the dirt away.

When a suitable fluid is used, it is ideal for disinfecting all types of objects.
