Defects and other observations

  • The dashboard displays a particulate filter (DPF) fault warning.

  • According to the workshop assessment the DPF is clogged and there is an exhaust leak between the turbo and the DPF. See the workshop report in the photos.

    • As a result there is a smell of diesel exhaust.

  • There is knocking from the suspension. The workshop inspection found play in front axle and chassis components. See the attached workshop report.

  • The panoramic roof does not close electrically; it was not tested further and no additional information on the fault is available. Next fault message: "Sliding sunroof anti-trap function failure"

  • Left rear light fault message: "Brake Light Left failure", although both rear lights illuminate.
