Please note that furniture in good condition is not new. Below are typical examples of condition applicable to all items:

• Like new: The item is equivalent to new with no defects, at most dust.

• Good: An office chair upholstery may have a single small stain, slight pilling or minor wear on the base. An electric desk may have a small scratch/light wear on the top or marks on the frame. Overall the furniture looks neat and functions; all adjustments work.

• Satisfactory: Chair upholstery may have a few small stains or one slightly larger stain and marks on the base. An electric desk top may have more visible scratches or marks and/or frame scratches. All adjustments work unless stated otherwise, but may be slightly stiffer (e.g. on a chair). Older models or faded upholstery but functional chairs are classed as satisfactory.

• Poor: Chair upholstery is dirty or noticeably worn and the base is scratched. An electric desk top has several visible scratches and marks. Adjustments work but may be stiff (e.g. on a chair).

Won items must be collected within one week of the successful bid. Collection is from our central warehouse. Detailed collection instructions will be emailed to the winning bidder.

If the item is delivered, the delivery time will be advised separately.

After that we charge a storage fee of €50 per day unless otherwise agreed.

If storage charges exceed the hammer price, the sale will be considered cancelled and the item re‑sold.
