Please note that an item in good condition is not new. Below are more detailed examples of condition that apply to all furniture:

• Like new: The item is equivalent to new and has no defects, at most dust.

• Good: The upholstery of a task chair may have a single small stain, slight pilling or some wear on the crosspiece. An electric desk may have a small scratch/light wear on the top or marks on the frame. Overall the items look neat and in good condition. All adjustments work.

• Satisfactory: The upholstery of a task chair may have a few small stains or a slightly larger stain and marks on the crosspiece. An electric desk may have more visible scratches or marks on the top and/or scratches on the frame. All adjustments work unless stated otherwise, but they may be slightly stiffer, e.g. on a task chair. Often an older model and faded upholstery compared with new, but still functional—this is classified as satisfactory.

• Fair: The upholstery of a task chair is dirty or significantly worn and the crosspiece scratched. An electric desk top has several visible scratches and marks. Adjustments work, but may be stiffer, e.g. on a task chair.

Items won must be collected within one week of the winning bid. Collection is from our central warehouse; detailed collection information will be emailed to the winning bidder.

If the item is delivered, the delivery time will be notified separately.

After this we charge €50/day storage fee unless otherwise agreed.

If storage fees exceed the auction price, we consider the sale cancelled and will re-sell the item.
