Please note that an item in good condition is not new. Below are examples of condition grades that apply to all furniture:

• Like new: The item is equivalent to new and has no defects, at most dust.

• Good: The office chair upholstery may have a single small stain, some pilling or minor wear on the base. An electric desk may have a small scratch/light wear on the top or marks on the frame. Overall the furniture looks tidy and good. All adjustments work.

• Satisfactory: The office chair upholstery may have a few small stains or a single slightly larger stain and marks on the base. An electric desk may have more visible scratches or marks on the top and/or frame. All adjustments work unless stated otherwise, but they may be slightly stiff, e.g. on the office chair. Often an older model and with faded upholstery compared with new, but a functioning chair is classed as satisfactory.

• Poor: The office chair upholstery is noticeably dirty or worn and the base is scratched. The electric desk top has several visible scratches and marks. Adjustments work but may be stiff, e.g. on the office chair.

Items won must be collected within one week of the winning bid. Collection is from our central warehouse; detailed pickup information will be emailed to the winning bidder.

If the item is to be delivered, the delivery time will be notified separately.

After this we charge €50 per day in storage unless otherwise agreed.

If storage charges exceed the auction price, we consider the sale cancelled and will re-sell the item.
