Please note that an item in good condition is not new. Below are examples of condition levels that apply to all items:

• Like new: The item is equivalent to new and has no defects, at most dust.

• Good: An office chair's upholstery may have a single small stain, slight pilling or some wear on the base. An electric desk may have a small scratch/light wear on the top or marks on the frame. Overall appearance tidy and good. All adjustments work.

• Satisfactory: An office chair's upholstery may have a few small stains or a slightly larger stain and marks on the base. An electric desk may have more visible scratches or marks on the top and/or marks on the frame. All adjustments work unless otherwise stated, but may be a little stiffer, e.g. in a chair. Often an older model and faded upholstery—still functional—will be classed as satisfactory.

• Fair: An office chair's upholstery is dirty or heavily worn and the base is scratched. An electric desk's top has several visible scratches and marks. Adjustments work but may be stiffer, e.g. in a chair.

Won items must be collected within one week of the winning bid. Collection takes place from our central warehouse; detailed collection information will be sent to the winning bidder by email.

If the item is to be delivered, the delivery time will be notified separately.

After this we charge a €50/day storage fee unless otherwise agreed.

If storage fees exceed the auction price, we will consider the sale cancelled and will re-sell the item.
