Please note that an item in good condition is not new. Below are more detailed examples of condition that apply to all items:

• Like new: The item is equivalent to new and has no defects, at most dust.

• Good: An office chair’s upholstery may have a single small stain, slight pilling or some wear on the base. An electric desk’s top may have a small scratch/light wear or marks on the frame. Overall the items look tidy and good. All adjustments work.

• Satisfactory: An office chair’s upholstery may have a few small stains or one slightly larger stain and marks on the base. An electric desk’s top may show more visible scratches or marks and/or scratches on the frame. All adjustments work unless otherwise stated, but may be a little stiffer (e.g. in an office chair). Often an older model and faded compared with new, but a working office chair is classified as satisfactory.

• Fair: An office chair’s upholstery is dirty or significantly worn and the base scratched. An electric desk’s top has several visible scratches and marks. Adjustments work, but may be stiffer (for example in an office chair).

Won lots must be collected within one week of the winning bid. Collection is from our central warehouse. Detailed collection information will be emailed to the winning bidder.

If the lot is to be delivered, the delivery time will be notified separately.

After this we charge a storage fee of €50 per day unless otherwise agreed.

If storage charges exceed the auction price, we will consider the sale cancelled and will re-auction the lot.
