Please note that an item in good condition is not new. Below are more detailed examples of condition, which apply to all items:

• Like new: The furniture is equivalent to new and has no defects, at most dust.

• Good: Upholstery (e.g. on an office chair) may have an isolated small stain, slight pilling or minor wear on the base. An electric desk top may have a small scratch/light wear or marks on the frame. Overall appearance neat and good. All adjustments work.

• Satisfactory: Upholstery may have a few small stains or a single slightly larger stain and marks on the base. An electric desk top may show more visible scratches or marks and/or scratches on the frame. All adjustments work unless stated otherwise, but they may be slightly stiffer (e.g. on an office chair). Often an older model and the upholstery may be faded compared with new, but a functioning office chair is classified as satisfactory.

• Poor: Upholstery of an office chair is dirty or significantly worn and the base scratched. An electric desk top with several visible scratches and marks. Adjustments work but may be stiffer (e.g. on an office chair).

Won items must be collected within one week of the winning bid. Collection is from our central warehouse; detailed pickup information will be emailed to the winning bidder.

If the item is delivered, the delivery time will be notified separately.

After that we charge a storage fee of €50/day unless otherwise agreed.

If storage charges exceed the hammer price, we consider the sale cancelled and will re-sell the item.
