A Siamoto Favourite 125cc 4-stroke scooter that came to us in part-exchange will be auctioned — only 7,200 km, two owners!

Perfect for a summer commute or an ice-cream kiosk!

The Siamoto brand is Italian, and this is a so-called maxi-scooter, meaning it has a larger body than an ordinary scooter, a wide seat and a comfortable riding position.

The model was sold in Europe around 2000–2004 and was aimed especially at commuting and city riding. This example was sold new in Finland and has had two owners.


This is not a moped scooter but is fitted with a 125 cc engine. So it has sufficient torque and a top speed of around 80–95 km/h. It also has a front disc brake, which is considerably more effective than a drum brake.


There are a few small things to sort before the next ride. The scooter starts but after running a short while the carburettor floods with fuel.
So it will most likely be solved by cleaning the carburettor, which is very straightforward on this model.
The previous owner said the battery was renewed last year.


Included are all accessories and plastic covers visible in the pictures. Also an extra carburettor.

Defects and other observations

On a short test ride we observed the following:

  • Starts with electric start but after running a short while the carburettor floods with petrol. Likely only requires a carburettor cleaning.
    - The battery should be secured better.
