Please note that an item in good condition is not new. Below are examples of condition levels that apply to all furniture:

• Like new: The item is equivalent to new and has no defects, at most dust.

• Good: Upholstery may have a single small stain, slight pilling or minor wear on the base. An electric desk top may have a small scratch/light wear or marks on the frame. Overall appearance is neat and good. All adjustments work.

• Satisfactory: Upholstery may have a few small stains or a single larger stain and the base may show marks. An electric desk top may have more visible scratches or marks and/or marks on the frame. All adjustments work unless otherwise stated, but they may be slightly stiffer, e.g. on a task chair. Often an older model and faded upholstery compared with new, but a working chair is classified as satisfactory.

• Poor: Upholstery is dirty or noticeably worn and the base is scratched. An electric desk top has several visible scratches and marks. Adjustments work but may be, for example on a chair, stiffer.

Won lots must be collected within one week of the winning bid. Collection is from our central warehouse; detailed pickup instructions will be emailed to the winning bidder.

If the item is delivered, the delivery time will be notified separately.

After this we charge a storage fee of €50/day unless agreed otherwise.

If storage costs exceed the auction price, we consider the sale cancelled and will re-sell the item.
