This model is operated via the touchscreen rather than buttons. It has a large 6100 mAh battery that charges while connected to the car's OBD port (a USB charging cable is included, so you can also charge it with a standard phone USB charger).

Most cars are identified automatically when the reader is plugged into the OBD port; the device retrieves vehicle details from the VIN. If this fails or you prefer, you can enter the vehicle information manually.

The reader is easy to keep up to date: simply connect it to a Wi‑Fi network and update the device.
