The TGB Blade 425SL is a road-legal ATV with four-wheel drive. It has no speed limiter and requires at least a Category B driving licence to be ridden on the road.

Cosmetically intact and tidy, as the low odometer reading suggests. The tyres also have plenty of tread.

Lights and indicators work. The winch and four-wheel drive also function.

Underneath there are mounting brackets for a Finman plough.

However, the oil pressure warning light stays on at idle. It goes out at around 3,000 rpm when revved, so for some reason the pressure is insufficient at idle.

The fault appeared when we raised the idle. It seems that this "fixed" the issue, but we recommend further work to get the light to go out permanently.

It can still be usable for light yard tasks and quick trips for a while.

No other faults have been found or noticed. This is already a 17-year-old ATV, so other issues can appear quickly.

If you're not willing to repair it at your own cost, we do not recommend bidding on this item. We have new machines with warranty. The previous owner did the same — he changed to a new one to avoid tinkering.

But for someone who enjoys restoration this is a great project!
