Expandable seat with folding mechanism

The Solution G2 i-Fix seat has been updated to a new version that makes the shell easier to install in the car. The seat weighs only 5.8 kg, several kilos lighter than its predecessor. The improved handling of the shell is emphasised by the new travel mode: the backrest folds 90 degrees forward. Folded this way the seat is convenient to carry inside or to store in the car boot. The side impact protection has also been upgraded to the new L.S.P. System PLUS. All proven and popular features remain, such as the patented headrest, extendable side wings, height-adjustable head support, ISOFIX anchors and ergonomic seat design.

The CYBEX Solution G2 i-Fix is classified for 100–150 cm and is suitable for use from around 3 years of age up to about 12 years.

Four advanced features

• Height-adjustable headrest and flexible side wings allow a tailored fit for years. Raise the headrest as your child grows. The flexible side wings let the seat grow with the child for maximum comfort.

• The patented 3-position reclining headrest prevents your child’s head from falling forward while sleeping. Their head and neck remain protected by the seat while they sleep.

• ISOFIX gives a quick, secure installation you can trust. Install the seat simply by attaching it to your vehicle’s ISOFIX points.

• Folds down in seconds. The backrest folds forward over the seat, making the folded seat easier to move. Thanks to the new shell the seat weighs only 5.8 kg, considerably lighter than the previous model. Handy to lift into the boot or take on trips.

• Linear side-impact protection (L.S.P. System PLUS) redirects up to 20% of side-impact forces away from the child.

*The i-Size R129 standard aims to improve child safety in cars and reduce incorrect installations. R129 crash tests use a test dummy equipped with 32 sensors instead of the traditional 4, and side impacts are specifically included in the approval criteria.
