Yamaha long-shaft 4-stroke outboard engine, approx. 86 kW (115 hp). Engine running hours about 1,100 h. Sold for repair or for spare parts.

NOTE! The trolling brake shown in the first two pictures is NOT included in the sale.

A transfer document will be provided to the buyer so the engine can be registered to a boat.

The lower unit was repaired in autumn 2025 after a grounding by a service workshop. When the engine was put back into use in spring, an oil leak was discovered.

Remote control unit, gauges, wiring harnesses, and mounting bolts. (Remote-control cables are not included, as lengths are boat-specific.)

The engine can be delivered by carrier. Delivery fee includes transport to Kaukokiito or Tavaralähetit Oy terminals.

Defects and other observations

Last autumn the engine ran aground and the lower unit was damaged. The gearcase was repaired, the propeller replaced and the stern measured and checked. In spring the customer returned the boat to service and an oil leak was noticed. The oil leak has not been locatable externally, so it will require further disassembly. Suspected cause: bolts on the block may have stretched as a result of the grounding.


Observed faults

* All oil has now been drained from the engine

* The cavitation plate has holes drilled due to the trolling brake installation (trolling brake not included)

* Small paint chip on the skeg (visible in photos)

* Engine cowling intact, but paint fade and tape marks (visible in photos)

* Grounded in autumn 2025, but the lower unit was repaired at a service workshop.
