Practical, versatile Step In step

You might not expect one plastic step to be so useful, but it is. We designed the Step In step to make getting into the tub easier. The step helps you get in and out, but also works as a seat for a smaller child whose head might otherwise dip underwater. Parents can relax more when children have a step sized for them. In practice the step also serves as a handy armrest, making the Premium Step In Hot Tub a convenient lounging tub. The Step In solution makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub suitable for all ages and eases bathing for those with reduced mobility.

Premium class brings extra room

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we manufacture quality hot tubs, and the Premium series goes one step further thanks to its larger size. With the Premium series you get a bigger tub and premium-level comfort. In smaller tubs legs often get cramped in the middle, but an extra 30–40 cm of diameter works wonders. The water volume does not increase significantly and the Premium Step In Hot Tub reaches bathing temperature almost as quickly as smaller tubs. Plenty of choices

We apologise in advance for making part of the buying decision difficult — but that’s a good problem. You get to tailor your Premium Step In Hot Tub to your taste. Choose the plastic shell colour from five options, pick the outer cladding from three materials and select the cover colour in black or grey. The colour range is inspired by nature, including sea blue and lichen grey. All shades work well together.

Insulated for northern conditions

To achieve first-class insulation, we wrapped the Premium Step In Hot Tub in proper thermal layers. Under the plastic shell there is 44 cm of EPS insulation to keep frost out and the bathing water hot even in colder weather. We also fitted generous thermo-plastic insulation around the sides so the rim is insulated too. Our efficient insulation keeps heat so well that a well-covered Premium Step In Hot Tub remains warm the next day. For winter baths we recommend one firing before the next day’s use. Active oxygen tablets added after an evening bath will freshen the water for the next session. Then enjoy again — or, in the case of children, make more noise.

Powerful hot performance

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kilowatt stove is durable and conducts heat well. It has a glass hatch so the wood-fired tub produces a pleasant glow without needing to open the hatch to check the fire.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s marine-aluminium stoves are made in Finland. The high-power stove tolerates even seawater, so it can be used with fresh or brackish water. Carefully chosen materials make the stove a top product. Note that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine begins to oxidise marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories). Active oxygen sanitises the water for roughly 24 hours, after which the water can be reused for watering plants as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Non-oxidised water quickly builds slimy residue on the tub rim, but active oxygen prevents this.

Worry-free plastic shell

The uniquely shaped and ergonomically designed shell of the Premium Step In Hot Tub is rotationally moulded polyethylene (Jaxal). This plastic has memory and retains the shape it was moulded into. The low-maintenance plastic shell endures well, which is why we offer a ten-year guarantee.

Because the shell has no moulded seams, dirt cannot collect in special crevices. Do remember to clean the surfaces when changing the water — this is easily done with ordinary detergents. Meticulous users may wish to disinfect the shell occasionally; remember to handle wastewater correctly.
