This slightly wider alder sauna board is an excellent choice for sauna benches, as it tolerates temperature changes without cracking.

It keeps its dimensions and copes well with moisture and heat. Smooth, pleasant-to-touch alder benches are very comfortable to sit on; the surface does not become hot even in strong steam.


Popular alder has a warm, reddish colour and gives a mild, authentic wood scent. If desired, the boards can be treated as preferred, for example with paraffin oil.
