Penta outboard engine for the collector. Asking an AI about the serial number indicates a manufacture year of 1941. The "S" in the model designation denotes a special variant that received technical updates.


The engine's pistons move; it is not seized. Spark plugs should be fitted to see if it runs. The old ones have been removed, but I haven't had time to buy replacements. It has not been tested and is therefore sold as a project, but rotation would suggest the engine could possibly be made to run.


A piece of history for the enthusiast! These were made in Sweden from the 1920s until the late 1940s, so they are approaching a century-old historical value — and it's a very handsome example.
