The tractor was driven off the trailer and started well with a jump start. We tested that the linkage rose and the PTO was turning. The brake worked only on the left side. The tractor was stopped normally, after which I checked the oil dipstick and noticed the oil level was considerably above the upper limit and the oil felt slightly thin and smelled of diesel, so my assessment is that fuel is getting into the oil. The item has not been examined in detail and is sold as-is for repair to the highest bidder.
