We wrote these words on a flipchart when we started designing a higher-quality, roomy hot tub. From brainstorming we turned the idea into a product and so the Premium Hot Tub was born, with room to sprawl thanks to its 2 m diameter! You can enjoy the luxury of extra space alone, but the Premium Hot Tub also fits the whole group of friends. Children have room for wilder water play in this quality giant. We improved the Premium Hot Tub further by adding an easy-to-use step, creating the Premium Step In Hot Tub, which makes it easier for children and older people to get in and out to cool off. The step’s versatility makes this tub even more premium.

Practical, versatile Step In step

You wouldn’t think one plastic step could do so much, but it does. We designed a Step In step to make getting into the tub easier. The step naturally helps when entering and exiting the tub, but it also works as a seat for a smaller child whose head might otherwise dip under the water. Parents can relax more when the child has a suitably sized step. In use we’ve also found the step works well as a handhold — the step makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub a convenient water lounger. The Step In solution makes this hot tub suitable for all ages and helps people with reduced mobility to bathe more easily.

Premium class adds extra size to your tub

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we make quality hot tubs, but the Premium range goes a step further with its large size. In the Premium range you get a bigger tub, which means first-class, premium-level comfort. In smaller tubs legs can easily get tangled in the middle, but an extra 30–40 cm of diameter makes a big difference! The water volume does not increase significantly and the Premium Step In Hot Tub reaches bathing temperature almost as quickly as smaller tubs. A wealth of choices

We apologise in advance for making the purchase decisions a little difficult — but this is a good problem. You get to choose so the Premium Step In Hot Tub suits your taste. Choose the plastic tub colour from five options. That’s not all: you can also choose the exterior cladding material from three options and pick the cover colour in black or grey. The tub colour range is inspired by nature, including marine blue and lichen grey. All colour schemes are compatible and work well together.

Insulation for northern conditions

To achieve top-class insulation, we wrapped the Premium Step In Hot Tub in proper thermal layers. Under the plastic shell there is 44 cm of EPS insulation that keeps frost at bay and the bath water warm even in colder winter weather. We also added a generous layer of thermal plastic to the tub sides so the rim is insulated too. This highly efficient hot tub keeps heat so well that a well-covered Premium Step In Hot Tub will still be warm the next day. For winter bathing we recommend one reload of the heater before the next day’s bath. Chlorine tablets added after an evening bath also freshen the water for the next session. Then just enjoy again — or, in the case of children, splash about.

Hot, efficient heating

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kW stove’s marine aluminium is durable and conducts heat well. The stove has a lovely glass hatch so the wood-fired tub creates a pleasant glow and you don’t need to open the hatch to check the fire.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s marine-aluminium stoves are made in Finland. The powerful stove is not afraid of seawater — it works with both fresh and brackish water. Carefully considered material details make this stove a top-quality product. Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium as chlorine oxidises marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories list). Active oxygen treats the water for about 24 hours, after which the water can be reused for watering plants as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water can develop a slimy film on the tub rim, but active oxygen prevents this.

Carefree plastic shell

The uniquely shaped and ergonomically designed Premium Step In Hot Tub shell is rotationally moulded polyethylene by Jaxal. This plastic has memory — it keeps the shape in which it was moulded. The easy-care, durable plastic shell stands the test of time and therefore we offer a ten-year warranty.

Because the shell has no moulded seams, dirt cannot accumulate in specific places. Remember to keep the tub surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy with ordinary detergents. The more meticulous users can disinfect the shell from time to time, but remember to handle wastewater correctly.
