Here is a rare treat!!

A work of art built in Finland by a top professional, based on John L. Hacker's Runabout.

This boat is, for all practical purposes, new — so you won't find the problems typical of old "restored" boats; it is not rotten.

Built in 2014, when a new engine was installed (MerCruiser 5.7 L, 250 hp, Thunderbolt 5 ignition).

This package has been run for a maximum of 100 hours.

The boat is shaft-driven and therefore runs dead straight.

The engine sits midships, so the V8 sound is nicely restrained despite the straight exhausts (see video).

A new chartplotter with charts is included; it is not affixed to the console, as I don't think it fits the period look.

All basic boating equipment included: ropes, fenders (4, rope-braided), anchor, extinguisher, a good condition harbour cover, etc.

An unregistered trailer made to fit this boat is included.

There is practically no planing threshold in this boat — it can glide at under 10 knots (≈19 km/h).

Acceleration must be experienced to be believed (see video).

With the current propeller it is very economical to run; top speed about 35 knots (≈65 km/h), with a smaller propeller easily over 40 knots (≈74 km/h).

The boat is in the water — come for a sea trial to check condition and how well it performs.

Kept in heated storage.
