Clean, basically reliable, reasonably economical VW Golf 5D GOLF VARIANT 1.6-1J/250 with moderate mileage is being sold to a new owner.

Sold for repair and for parts, as the car is already 21 years old; the buyer is allowed to inspect the vehicle before making a binding bid.

An excellent, reliable basic vehicle ready for Midsummer.

No longer needed for daily use; as in the pictures — technically operational. New summer tyres fitted in spring, driven about 1,500 km on them. Winter tyres in OK condition; the number of studs has not been checked and a photo will be added later. Paint imperfections in a few places, which seem to be a model-specific fault; a few small rust spots on the panels but minor and easily repairable if desired.

The car has a CD/radio player, engine block heater and an interior splitter and cabin heater installed. Central locking, electric windows front and rear, working front seat heaters, air conditioning — which was blowing cold at the time of the photos.

The interior is intact and tidy; with a light clean it could look almost new.

Timing belt replaced on 17/11/2021 at 176,843 km, and presumably the water pump as well.

The most recent service was carried out on 20/11/2025 at 223,037 km (i.e. 9,625 km ago) and at the same time a new windscreen was fitted, which has therefore been exposed to possible stone chips for just over half a year.

Inspection-identified faults on the front lights (parking lights) have been repaired.
