We improved the Premium Hot Tub by adding an easy-to-use step, creating the Premium Step In Hot Tub, which makes it easier for children and older people to get in and out to cool off. The step's versatility makes this tub even more premium.

Practical, versatile Step In step

It may be surprising how useful a single plastic step can be, but it is. We designed a Step In step to make getting into the tub easier. The step naturally helps with entering and exiting the tub, but it also serves as a seat for a smaller child whose head might otherwise sink under the water. Parents can relax more when children have a step sized for them. In use, we have found the step also works well as a handhold — making the Premium Step In Hot Tub a practical lounging tub. The Step In solution makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub suitable for all ages and eases bathing for people with reduced mobility.

Premium class adds extra size to your tub

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we make quality hot tubs, and the Premium series has been taken a step further with its larger size. The Premium series gives you a bigger tub and that means first-class, premium-level comfort. In smaller tubs your legs quickly get cramped in the centre, but an extra 30–40 cm of diameter works wonders! The water volume does not increase significantly and the Premium Step In Hot Tub is ready to use almost as quickly as smaller tubs. A wealth of choices

We apologise in advance for making the purchase decision a bit tricky — but that’s a good problem. You need to make choices so your Premium Step In Hot Tub is tailored to your taste. You can choose the plastic shell colour from five options. It doesn’t stop there. You can also choose the outer cladding material from three options and pick the cover colour between black or grey. The colour selection is inspired by nature, including sea-blue and lichen-grey. All colour schemes are compatible and work well together.

Insulation for northern conditions

To achieve first-class insulation we wrapped the Premium Step In Hot Tub in proper thermal layers. Under the plastic shell there is 44 cm of EPS insulation, which keeps frost out and the bathwater hot even in colder winter weather. We added generous thermoplastic insulation around the sides so the rim is insulated too. This highly efficient hot tub retains heat so well that a well-covered Premium Step In Hot Tub remains warm the next day. For winter bathing we recommend burning one load of wood before the next day’s bath. Chlorine-free oxygen tablets added after an evening bath will also freshen the water for the next session. Then just enjoy again — or, for the children, splash about.

Powerful heating

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kilowatt stove is robust and conducts heat well. The stove has a beautiful glass hatch so the wood-fired tub creates an attractive glow and you do not need to open the hatch to check the fire.

Heaters in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s hot tub packages are made in Finland from marine aluminium. The powerful heater withstands seawater, so it works with both fresh and marine water. Carefully considered material details make this stove a top product. The heater package includes a two-metre chimney pipe and a rain cap, but if you want extra pipe, a chimney guard or a spark arrestor, check the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine will start to oxidise the metal. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories list). Active oxygen sanitises the water for about 24 hours, after which the water can also be used for watering plants, since it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water can easily develop a slimy film on the tub edges, but active oxygen prevents this.

Carefree plastic shell

The uniquely shaped and ergonomically designed Premium Step In Hot Tub shell is rotationally moulded polyethylene by Jaxal. This plastic has memory — it keeps the shape it was moulded into. The easy-care plastic shell endures well, which is why we dare to offer a ten-year warranty on it.

Because the plastic shell has no moulded seams, dirt cannot hide in seams. Remember to keep the shell surfaces clean when changing the water. That is easy with ordinary detergents. The more meticulous users can occasionally disinfect the shell, but remember to dispose of waste water correctly.
