EVO2 is an updated version of the popular Cooltron Reco 60 room ventilation unit. Minimalist matt-white design and a new stylish remote control.

The very popular Reco 60 ventilation unit has been renewed and become the Reco 60 EVO2. The unit now has an elegant matt-white finish that blends better with Finnish home interiors. The EVO2 can be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply unobtrusively. The unit is still delivered with a mains plug, which is the primary connection option. In addition, a completely new and more stylish remote control has been developed for the unit.

In detached houses, ventilation accounts for roughly 30–40% of energy use; with the Reco 60 EVO2 you can recover up to 90% of that energy. The Cooltron Reco 60 converts natural ventilation into mechanical ventilation easily. The unit is designed to provide continuous, controlled ventilation to the fitted space, bringing fresh air in and expelling exhaust air. The unit's ceramic heat exchanger recovers heat from the exhaust air with up to 90% efficiency, so besides fresh indoor air you also get savings in heating costs. In summer the Reco 60 reduces the cooling demand of air-source heat pumps, as the exhaust air cools the incoming warm air in the heat exchanger.

Reco 60 is ideal for e.g. garages, storerooms and holiday cottages. The unit can also improve ventilation in detached houses that use natural ventilation. Larger spaces may require multiple units to achieve sufficient ventilation. In that case the units' duty cycles can be scheduled so some blow out and some blow in simultaneously.

The ventilation unit is designed for through-wall installation. Its telescopic structure allows installation in wall constructions 250 mm–400 mm thick. Installation requires a d=165 mm hole in the wall. The unit is easy to power using the supplied mains plug directly from a socket.

The unit is sized for continuous use and should remain connected to mains power. It is controlled with the supplied remote control or the buttons on the unit's edge. The unit significantly reduces heat loss, pollen, moisture and carbon dioxide, creating pleasant indoor air. The unit can be fitted with a separately sold HEPA 11 filter that effectively removes allergenic particles from room air.
