The vehicle has no separate water heater and the tyres are old winter tyres without studs, so I recommend buying new tyres before longer journeys.

There was a small crack in the bottom of the water tank, which has been repaired, and small repairs to the habitation windows. The rear window shows a little condensation between the plexiglass panels as pictured, indicating a small leak somewhere that has not been investigated.

Interior trim shows old marks from a roof-seam leak (now well sealed), but these have dried and there are no detectable signs of moisture damage or poor air quality inside the vehicle.

Otherwise everything should be in order, but please inspect the vehicle before bidding and we will go through it thoroughly so you know what you are buying and receive a detailed explanation of the vehicle/type, its construction and usage experience.

We have three of these (plus an MB 100D van) and we like them a lot, but three is too many so one is being sold — not at a bargain price. The vehicle includes, among other items, a good stereo with rear speakers, almost new batteries, a Blue Sea automatic charging relay, a CTEK MXS 3.6 battery charger, an Eberspächer Airtronic M D3 diesel heater, a compressor-driven fridge and a cassette WC.

The sale does not include the habitation curtains — which are on loan from another vehicle — nor the detachable front seat covers, unless separately agreed.

The museum-registered vehicle is exempt from taxes and has a lower insurance premium; in this ownership group it is €228 per year. Fuel consumption is about 11 L/100 km and it is powered by the durable, reliable Mercedes OM616 engine. This is not a vehicle for a fast traveller — on steep hills you'll instinctively want to help with body movements...
