REGISTER TO ENTER THE TENDER COMPETITION (Mynämäki Parish Rectory / Parish Office) — 2‑stage auction, Mynämäki

Mynämäki Parish is seeking an operational plan/possible business model for the old rectory (parish office) being sold through a closed auction procedure

An approx. 4,500 m² plot will be separated from the property.

A new owner for the property for sale will be sought via a closed auction procedure. In the procedure’s first stage the bidder must submit a participation notice together with an operational plan (one offer to this auction and a separate written participation notice with the operational plan sent by the deadline by e‑mail). Based on these, selected participants will be invited separately to the closed auction (to determine the price for the property).

Stage 1: participation notice (submitting one offer to this announcement and a separate written participation notice with an operational plan by the deadline). This is not the purchase offer for the property, but entitles the bidder to take part in stage 2 of the competition.

Stage 2: a bid price will be submitted as the offered purchase price for the property (a separate auction for invited participants only).

Mynämäki Parish requires that participation in this first stage secures the right to participate in the second stage.

Separate written participation notice

The participation notice must present a plan for the proposed use of the property and a possible business model including financing options. Please also provide contact details / name, telephone number and e‑mail address. Failure to deliver the participation notice by the deadline will result in rejection from the competition and will not permit participation in stage 2.

Credit information of those invited to the auction will be checked. Invited participants will be notified of the time of the closed auction and given access instructions to the auction site.

Mynämäki Parish reserves the right to accept or reject received participation notices. Bidders agree to provide contact information for decision‑making.

The offer will be handled by the Mynämäki Parish church council and approved by the parish assembly.

Movable contents are not included in the sale.

Property details: The current main building of the Mynämäki rectory was built in the 1860s. The rectory is located by the Mynäjoki river in one of the municipality’s most picturesque locations. The building is currently used by the parish as the parish office and financial office and contains staff workspaces. The rectory has previously been used as a residence. Heating is via district heating. Consumption in 2025 was 50.934 MWh. The sauna building is in a condition suitable for demolition. More detailed information can be found in the attachments.
