Rare bundle of vintage small garden machines – Gilson, Landmaster and Clinton for restoration/collection:

Sold as a single lot: three older small garden machines for restoration, refurbishment, spare parts or collecting. The machines are not in running condition, but the engines turn over and are not seized.

The lot includes:

Gilson Holiday Standard ride-on mower / garden tractor:

• Old American-made Gilson Brothers Co. machine

• Equipped with seat, steering wheel and cutting deck

• Attractive age patina, some rust and wear.

Landmaster Gardenmaster 80 rotavator / garden machine:

• Landmaster Ltd, Hucknall, Nottingham, England

• Older petrol-powered garden machine for rotavating/tilling

• Type plate reads Gardenmaster 80, serial number G34474

• Machine has handles, wheels and tilling blades.

Push mower with old Clinton Engines motor

• Clinton Engines Corp., Maquoketa, Iowa, U.S.A.

• Engine marked Panther Cast Iron Sleeve 2 1/2 H.P (≈1.9 kW)

• Old metal-framed push mower

• Clearly aged and rusty, but the engine is not seized.

Condition:

• All machines sold together as one lot

• Not in running condition

• Engines turn over and are not seized

• Wear, rust, patina and signs of use consistent with age

• Sold for restoration, refurbishment, spare parts or collecting

• Functionality has not been tested while running

We charge a storage fee of €30 per day if the item is not collected within seven days of the auction end or the collection date stated in the listing (for lots where collection is possible). You may inspect the item in person provided you notify and arrange a viewing in advance. The stated condition is based on a superficial inspection and other faults may exist. Please view the item in person before placing a binding bid. An office fee of €49.90 will be added to the hammer price regardless of whether the item is collected or delivered. The auction listing is based on the seller's observations; there may be latent defects the seller did not notice when preparing the listing.
