Suunto 9 watches will receive a phased update starting on 30 March 2021. The update adds new features, performance improvements and some bug fixes. Here is a list of the new features:

• New battery mode, Adventure, with continuous GPS tracking battery life of up to 7 days

• komoot’s extensive region packs offer turn-by-turn navigation and offline functionality for the areas you select.

• Plan your route in advance with komoot’s desktop or mobile app and sync it to your watch. The watch can now warn you when, for example, a junction is approaching. Navigation on multi-day hikes and bike tours has never been easier.

• Save important and interesting points of interest to your watch and navigate to them with your watch.
