The modern Kraft&Dele-branded inverter welder is a machine designed for arc welding with coated electrodes. Shielded electrode welding is an arc-welding method that uses a consumable metal electrode coated with a compacted coating.

The unit is designed for manual electric welding with electrodes 1.6–5.0 mm, depending on the chosen material and its thickness. Smooth adjustment of the welding current allows optimal welding results even for beginners.

The welder is equipped with a VRD system (Voltage Reduction Device) which reduces the torch voltage when welding is not being performed. This increases user safety by minimising the risk of electric shock. The correct voltage returns when the arc is reignited.

WELDING OPTIONS
MMA  - used with coated electrodes consisting of a metal core coated with a compacted coating (rutile, basic, acidic)
TIG LIFT  - a TIG process using a non-consumable electrode under inert gas shielding, used for welding alloy metals (not suitable for aluminium). This method yields the highest quality welds.
