Defects and other observations

The machine is in relatively good condition — repainted the summer before last, so there aren’t many dents. Some small play in the joints. New cylinders with slightly thicker rods were fitted to the swing last summer. The slope bucket shown in the picture is included. The bucket is in good condition; the cutting-edge corners are rounded. The engine fault light has been on for a couple of years.

The glow plug/heater only works in freezing conditions — not sure if this is a fault or a feature. All oils were changed and the diesel tank cleaned last summer. The windscreen wiper does not switch off; I removed the stalk. The heater fan only blows warm. The control panel is still at the workshop — apparently it didn’t get repaired. A new one costs €800. Come and see and try it so you don’t buy a pig in a poke. The machine is nearly of confirmation age, so there is no warranty or right of return, as stated in the auction rules.
