Planing bench. Unused, like-new demonstration piece! Made in Finland from Finnish birch. Finish: matt lacquer.


Top size 1195 mm × 1375 mm. Overall dimensions approximately 1500 mm × 1700 mm.


Designed for Ø19 mm round bench pegs. The top has holes in two rows, allowing easy securing of various workpieces. There are also peg holes on two sides. Bench pegs are not included but can be purchased separately in the required quantity.


The bench has two tail vises and two bar clamps.


Sturdy steel tube base.



Defects and other observations

The planing bench is flawless and a like-new display piece; it has not been used and therefore shows no signs of wear. For example, there are no indentations on the jaw clamping surfaces.


There was an electrical post fitted in the centre for demonstration use which has been removed, leaving a hole. Because the centre is recessed, a cover panel can be fitted. If required, a suitable panel (unfinished birch plywood) can be provided.
