From a time when motorcycle manufacturers still had free rein and imagination to carry out the wildest projects. The V-Max is a custom-cruiser style bike fitted with a staggering 140 hp! This rocket covers the quarter-mile (≈402 m) in under 11 seconds — a time that leaves many supposedly higher-performance cars trailing.


The bike is in original condition except for the mini indicators; with very little work it can be registered for museum status. The Yamaha service book has been lost over time; services have been carried out at private homes and in garages. The most recent basic service was done at the start of the last riding season, when the rear tyre was also replaced. The front tyre is at about 75%.
