Auto-darkening welding mask

An auto-darkening helmet is designed to protect the eyes and face during welding from sparks, splashes and harmful UV and IR radiation.

The mask is suitable for welding using all electric-arc methods – coated MMA electrodes and semi-automatic MIG-MAG and TIG with gas shielding. Additionally, it can be used for low-current TIG welding (20 A).

The filter cartridge has two light sensors that react to the welding arc, automatically detecting the start of welding and activating the auto-darkening function. After the work is finished the filter automatically returns to the light state.

The auto-darkening filter has two independent power sources:

• built-in battery charged by solar cells
• two external AAA batteries

Adjustable settings and mask size allow the product to be adapted to the type of work and to user requirements.
