ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air make light, positively charged particles cluster and fall out of the breathing zone more quickly by attaching to them.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes that mix into indoor air as aerosols (microbial toxins) can cause major health harm when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Microbial toxins that do not mix into the air typically cause harm only via spores.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation depends on achieving high concentrations.

When a device produces both ozone and negative ions, its effectiveness is 5–10 times greater than ozone alone and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, such as upholstered furniture and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air to the deep lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

Ozonation combined with negative ionisation cleans indoor air of harmful fine particles and also removes bacteria, moulds, viruses and various gases.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work particularly well in a positively pressured building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together form compounds that effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, e.g. sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxins, and stubborn cooking and tobacco odours.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC/VOC compounds from the air.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation give a pleasant, easy-to-breathe indoor air that is healthy to occupy.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together produce very clean indoor air for workplaces as well.

Indoor ozonation cannot be carried out while people are present because ozone is produced in high concentrations to destroy microbial spores. The combined effect of high ozone concentration and negative ionisation yields good cleaning results even for porous materials. After treatment the room is ventilated before people return.
