Lower control arm recently replaced, all issues noted at the MOT welded, handbrake repaired, ABS sensor replaced. MOT passed 7 May 2026, so it has a year of roadworthiness left.

Basic Vito, small surface rust spots on body panels here and there, not rotten and the underbody has been extensively welded. Service book available; oil changed roughly once a year; the engine runs like a Swiss watch. Gearbox and differential oil were also changed a few years ago.


Can be registered as a 5-seater if rear seats are fitted. It is a combi model.

There are faults, of course: a repair notice concerning the windscreen and the front side windows do not work (won't open). The window runner/track has come off.

Sometimes the speedometer cuts out and the ABS warning light comes on; cause unknown — possibly a faulty speed sensor. It can go weeks without this fault and sometimes it is constant. At certain speeds there is an occasional rumble, possibly the prop shaft centre bearing. The MOT did not find anything indicating this, nor bearing failures.

Only winter tyres currently fitted, bought last year. Summer wheels and tyres included (one wheel has a crack) and the tyres are worn out.


With a little tinkering this can still be a good van for many years; mechanically it is very good.
