For sale: an authentic, classic Artek armchair 406, designed by Alvar Aalto in 1939. The chair has a natural lacquered, bent birch frame and an elegant brown saddle-strap weave.

This model is known for its “lightness” and excellent seating comfort, as the frame flexes pleasantly under the sitter’s weight. The brown weave is a timeless choice that pairs nicely with the birch patina.

Condition:

Good used condition, very small signs of wear on one armrest. A lovely piece!
