Defects and other observations

The machine runs fairly well. Note: when warm, 4th gear will not engage — the fault appeared after the engine was removed to replace the drive plate during repair. 3rd gear can be engaged by switching the lever. It runs and drives when cold, a bit stubborn. The front windscreen wiper stopped working and blows the fuse; it has not been investigated or dismantled. Tyres are three years old; one front tyre has a sidewall cut (see photo). Overall a relatively dry machine. One hose seeps oil; it will be replaced if time permits. I added a couple of litres of engine oil, last topped up last autumn. Driven about 150 hours over winter/spring. Hydraulic oils were changed last summer and gearbox oils last week. Differential and hub oils were changed the autumn before last. Repainted and touched up small dents at the rear.
