Historic rumble: 2 Olympia engines (rare) and a Yanmar YSM 12G marine diesel, Vantaa

The Yanmar YSM 12G engine is missing at least the alternator and the ignition key for the control console.

The control console cable length is about 3 metres.

The marine gearbox appears to operate; oils are OK and the engine oil level is fine.

All three engines come from an estate, so their condition is unknown.

Bidders are obliged to inspect the items before placing a binding bid.

There is no warranty on the engines and they are sold for refurbishment or

for spare parts.

The Yanmar is on a pallet and easy to transfer into a van.


Also two Olympia 50‑hp (≈37 kW) engines for sale.

The engines come from an estate and probably have missing parts.

The green engine is from 1954 and appears more complete than the blue one.

The blue one is from 1951.

Condition is unknown, but both turn over by hand.

Both are easy to handle and can be lifted by their metal lifting handles.

One has wheels underneath.

Fairly heavy units but two people should be able to lift them.

So just bid and we will load the engines for collection.
