ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air affect airborne light, positively charged particles by attaching to them, forming larger, heavier molecules that quickly fall out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled indoors. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes — microbial toxins that mix into indoor air as aerosols — cause major health hazards when they enter the lungs and bloodstream. Microbial toxins that are not mixed into indoor air cause harm via spores only, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When a device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, such as sofas and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel into the lower lungs (alveoli) with breathing, enter the bloodstream and cause serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work especially effectively in a pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together create compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, e.g. sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and stubborn cooking and smoking odours.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC and VOC compounds from the air.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation produce a pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe, and it is good for people to be in such (clean) spaces.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together produce very clean indoor air also for workplaces.

Indoor air ozonation cannot be carried out if people are present, because ozone is always produced massively to destroy microbial spores. With a high ozone concentration combined with negative ionisation, a good clean result is achieved even in porous materials.
