Heating and ventilation systems cause a regularly underestimated problem during the cold season in offices, public authorities and institutions: they significantly dry indoor air. In poorly humidified offices, relative humidity in winter often drops to 20–30% – well below the recommended 40–60% for health. Dry mucous membranes, increased infection risk, reduced concentration and higher absence rates are the result. The Trotec B 400 evaporative humidifier solves this problem for spaces up to 360 m² or 900 m³.

The key is the mode of operation: with only 53 W power, the B 400 is designed for continuous use without significant running costs. The integrated hygrostat control regulates operation fully automatically – the unit humidifies the room to the set target and then switches off by itself. This prevents under- or over-humidification without manual adjustment.

For commercial continuous use the B 400 offers an optional fixed water connection: if the unit is connected to mains water, the 29 L tank does not need manual filling. The device runs until switched off – no staffing costs, no interruptions. The rotating evaporator disc not only humidifies the air but also cleans it, thus improving air quality.
