ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged particles to clump together; the larger, heavier particles fall out of the breathing zone quickly.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in air that are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes, airborne as aerosols, form a significant health hazard when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavier microbial toxins that do not mix into air cause harm via spores, which carry these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When a device produces both ozone and negative ions, effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone; high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, such as upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air into the lower lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems beyond asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work especially effectively in a positively pressured building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together create compounds that efficiently remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and stubborn cooking and tobacco smells.
