We turned the idea into a product and so the Premium Hot Tub was born, with space to lounge thanks to its 2-metre diameter! You can enjoy the luxurious roominess alone, but the Premium Hot Tub also fits a whole group of friends. Children have room for wilder water games in this high-quality giant. We improved the Premium Hot Tub further by adding a step to make it easier to use, and thus created the Premium Step In Hot Tub, which makes it easier for children and older people to step in and out when they want to cool off. The step’s versatility makes this tub even more premium.

Practical, versatile Step In step

You might not expect one plastic step to be so useful, but it is. We designed the Step In step to make entering the tub easier. The step naturally makes getting into and out of the tub simpler, but it also works as a seat for a smaller child whose head might otherwise slip under the water. Parents can relax more when the child has a bath step that suits their size. In use we have also found the step to make a handy handrail — the step makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub a convenient lounging tub. The Step In solution makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub a hot tub for all ages and helps people with reduced mobility to bathe more easily.

Premium class gives your tub extra size

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we make quality hot tubs, and the Premium series has been taken a step further thanks to its large size. With the Premium series you get a bigger tub and that means first-class, premium-level comfort. In smaller tubs the legs easily get tangled in the centre, but an extra 30–40 cm in diameter works wonders! The barrel’s water volume does not increase significantly and the Premium Step In Hot Tub is ready for bathing in almost the same time as smaller tubs. A wealth of choices

We apologise in advance for making part of the tub-buying process tricky — but it’s a good problem. You will have choices to make so you can get the Premium Step In Hot Tub tailored to your taste. You can choose the plastic shell colour from five options. It doesn’t end there: you can also choose the outer cladding material in three options and pick the cover colour between black or grey. The colour palette is inspired by nature, with options such as sea blue or lichen grey. All colour schemes are compatible and work well together.

Insulated for northern conditions

To achieve first-class insulation we wrapped the Premium Step In Hot Tub in proper thermal layers. Under the plastic shell there is 44 cm of EPS insulation that keeps frost at bay and the bath water warm even in colder winter weather. We also added plenty of thermal plastic insulation around the sides so the rim is insulated too. This highly efficient hot tub retains heat so well that a well-covered Premium Step In Hot Tub remains warm the next day. For winter bathing we recommend a single load of wood be burned before the next day’s bath. Oxygen tablets added after the previous evening’s bathing will also refresh the water for the next session. Then just enjoy again — or, if there are children, go wild.

Powerful, burning hot performance

Our efficient marine aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature within a couple of hours. The 35-kilowatt stove is durable and conducts heat well. The stove has an attractive glass door so the wood-fired tub gives a beautiful fire glow without the need to open the door to check the flames.

The marine aluminium stoves included in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka hot tub packages are manufactured in Finland. A powerful stove is not afraid of seawater — it works with both fresh and brackish water. Carefully considered material details make the stove an outstanding product. The stove package includes a 2-metre flue pipe and a rain cap, but if you want more pipe, a protective flue grille or a spark guard, check the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine oxidises marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water regularly and using oxygen tablets (see accessories). Oxygen tablets oxidise the water for about 24 hours, after which the water can also be used for irrigation as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Water without oxidiser quickly forms a slimy surface residue on the tub edges, but oxygen tablets prevent that.

Carefree plastic shell

The uniquely shaped and ergonomically designed shell of the Premium Step In Hot Tub is made from rotationally moulded Jaxal polyethylene. This plastic has memory — it wants to retain the shape it was moulded into. The easy-care, durable plastic shell stands the test of time, which is why we confidently offer a ten-year warranty.

Because the plastic shell has no moulded seams, dirt cannot accumulate in hidden places. Remember to keep the surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy with ordinary detergents. The most meticulous users may occasionally disinfect the shell, but remember to handle wastewater correctly.
