Sold on consignment: Chevrolet Evanda 2.0 CDX 4‑door Auto, offered to the highest bidder. Roadworthy car with pleasant equipment; inspection valid until August, sold for repair.

The gearbox operates inconsistently: gear engagement can sometimes be delayed, and at times the gearbox does not shift up from first gear, although most of the time it behaves almost normally. The car originally came to us for an internal gearbox flush, but the owner decided to sell it instead. It may be possible to improve the gearbox operation with an internal flush and an oil change.

The airbag warning light is also lit on the dash. The customer noted the light came on when the passenger seat was moved; this has not been investigated further.

Exterior condition is reasonable for the age. There is surface rust on the edges of the rear wheel arches and on the lower edges of the left front and rear doors, especially on the inside. The windscreen has no cracks but shows normal wear for its age. The left wiper has left a scuff on the glass. The plastic headlight lenses are typically clouded.

The interior is clean and intact; the grey leather upholstery has no tears. Glovebox lids, covers and buttons are in order. There are paint marks on the right edge of the driver’s seat.

Equipment appears to work, and the air conditioning blows cool air.

The car has one set of tyres: the current summer tyres are in fair condition on original alloy wheels.

Comprehensive documentation accompanies the car, including owner’s manuals and the service book. The timing belt was replaced in September 2020 at 158,000 km. The remote for the key works; the owner mentioned a second key at home and said they would provide it in the coming days.

Comfortable equipment: automatic transmission (see above), automatic climate control, remote central locking, electrically adjustable door mirrors and windows, original radio with a five‑CD changer. The driver’s seat has electric adjustment. The car also has ABS, airbags and TCS traction control.
