The MG MGF is an authentic British roadster – a car built above all to enjoy driving.

Introduced in the mid-1990s, the model brought classic open-top motoring into a more modern form while keeping what matters: lightness, balance and immediate steering feel.

The mid-engine layout makes driving exceptionally enjoyable. Weight distribution is almost perfect and the car feels as lively and precise through corners as a roadster should. You really have to drive one to fully appreciate it.

This example has a 1.8‑litre 88 kW (approx. 120 hp) engine, which suits the car’s character perfectly. Thanks to the light body the performance feels better than the figures suggest, and the car is lively in town and on the road. Throttle response is immediate and driving is rewarding.

The car’s character is complemented by a sportier exhaust that gives a pleasant, low‑pitched rumble — enough character without excessive noise.

One of the MGF’s most interesting technical features is its Hydragas suspension, which uniquely combines comfort and handling. It makes journeys smooth while keeping the car stable and controllable at higher speeds.

The car was with the previous owner from autumn 2015.

On 14 July 2016, at 149,321 km, a factory-defective but fully refurbished cylinder head was fitted, the cylinder head gasket was reinforced, the lower guide rail was strengthened, the timing belt and tensioner were replaced, as well as the water pump, HT leads, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor.

The package includes, in addition to the soft top, a hard top, wind deflector, soft-top cover with roof on, leather soft-top cover with roof down, a Hydragas pump to adjust the car’s ride height, a workshop manual, etc.
