Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, 2013, Hattula

Due to a change in life situation, this extra-long Mercedes Sprinter, registered as a 4-person motorhome but awaiting interior lining, is up for sale.
It’s comfortable to travel long distances thanks to cruise control and a 6-speed manual gearbox. On last summer’s trip to Norway, fully loaded, the average consumption was a modest 10.67 litres/100 km.

The vehicle has been extensively insulated
- Walls: 19 mm Armaflex and 50 mm Ewona wool; in some places a second Armaflex layer over the wool.

- Roof: 19 mm Armaflex and 20 mm Recticel Eurothane EWall insulation. Above the cab area only 19 mm Armaflex.
- Floor: 30 mm Recticel Eurothane EWall insulation

- Rear bench: two-seater original Mercedes extra seat with ISOFIX attachments.

- Table that slides/removes along the vehicle’s length

- Swivel plates on the front seats
- “Electric centre” in the right rear corner with 12 V and 230 V cables run through the vehicle.
- 200 Ah LiFePO4 battery.

- Victron Multiplus 12 V 3000 W 120 A with Bluetooth module installed. Managed via Victron’s mobile app.
- Victron MPPT SmartSolar 100/50 A

- Biltema 12 V easily positioned 6-button touch panel and relay box, in the left rear corner. Wiring for the panel is run along both sides towards the front of the vehicle.
- DC–DC charger SRNE MD1250N05 50 A with built-in MPPT charge controller (fitted after the photos when a warranty replacement arrived)

- SRNE Smart Shunt (probably faulty as it does not show consumption). Wiring for it is already in place.
- MAXXFAN Deluxe clear roof fan, with black tape over the outer cover.
- Compressor fridge Freezzer Pro black 65 L 12/24 V

- In the left rear corner of the load area: Vevor 8 kW air heater with Bluetooth. Included separately is a Truma 5 L water heater that heats via passing air and a 230 V element (loose, not fitted).
- Dimmable bright LED strip on the roof with a wireless switch. The LED strip continues past the rear of the roof fan.

- Bed approx. 175 cm x 190 cm; upper bed approx. 70 cm x 160 cm. Bed frames made from IKEA SKORVA extendable beams and wall brackets.
- Thermal windshield cover for the cab (shown in one photo). Also thermal covers for the cab glass for rainy conditions are available to fit inside.

On the roof:
- 510 W solar panel
- At the rear: brake light/parking light/indicator/reverse light (not all functions wired) and 2 × Purelux Road Black MF160 12 W work lights, wide beam

- On the right side “yard lights” 2 × Purelux Scene 19 W work lights, wide beam

- On the roof rack, facing backwards: 3 × Purelux Terrain Black Square Flood 20 W work lights, wide beam

- Additional lights on the roof rack: Regem 43YC and X-vision Genesis II 1100 spot LED light bar
- The roof rack also has several parking lights to the sides and rear. These can be switched off by a button.

- Reverse camera with two cameras: one views the tow bar and the other is adjustable for a longer rear view

- A homemade towbar relocation kit is included. This allows the rear doors to open when a bike rack with bikes is attached to the towbar.

- Removable twin jerry can holder for the rear door ladder

- Sliding door glass is double-glazed thermal glass

- The window at the table group slides open

Exterior repainted in autumn 2024; the original white was too conspicuous when wild camping and now it blends better with the surroundings.

Inner door panels are in good condition (see photos!)

- Oil pressure reduction valve removed

- At ~206,000 km: DPF cleaned (not clogged), fuel filter replaced, alternator overrunning pulley and tensioner replaced.

Faults:

- Interior plywood panels are temporary

- Central locking for the sliding door does not work

- Doors are still uninsulated (insulation will be included)

- Aftermarket antenna on the front edge of the roof is not connected; I have not found a suitable adapter between the antenna cables.

Winter: like-new Continental winter tyres on steel wheels

Summer: good-condition tyres on alloy wheels
