Generator power and number of ozone plates and power supplies

40,000 mg/h: 4 × double-sided ozone plates and 2 power supplies.

Ion production requires an ioniser unit inside the machine. Ozone plates do not produce ions.

If the unit you buy is advertised to produce negative ions, check that the device contains the ion-producing component shown in the last picture.

ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged particles in the air to cluster and fall out of the breathing zone quickly, as the larger heavier particles settle.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds that are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes, which mix into indoor air as aerosols, form a serious health hazard when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into the air present a threat mainly via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When the unit produces negative ions in addition to ozone, the effectiveness compared with ozone alone is 5–10 times better, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, such as upholstered furniture and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel into the lower parts of the lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ion treatment work particularly effectively in a positively pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ion treatment together create compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke, bacterial and mould toxins, and stubborn cooking and tobacco smells.

    Ozone and negative ion treatment also remove fine particles and MVOC and VOC compounds from the air.

    Ozonation and negative ion treatment produce a pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe and comfortable for people to occupy.

    Together they produce very clean indoor air suitable for workplaces.

Indoor ozonation cannot be performed when people are present, because ozone is produced in large quantities to destroy microbial spores. The combined effect of high ozone concentration and negative ionisation achieves good cleaning results even in porous materials.
